Home Boarding for Dogs

The dogs stay in my home and have the run of the property and garden. The owners provide their dog's food & treats and a few favourite toys. I will maintain their routine and they will enjoy their usual comforts and walks in the local countryside. Your dog can enjoy your holiday as much as you do.

I can collect and return the dogs to their home if they reside in the local area or the owner can drop them off between the hours of 8am-8pm.

Dogs must be:

• House trained and non-destructive.
• Used to being left for a few hours at a time.
• Strong breeds must be must be lead trained. I do not take very large breeds.
• They must be socialised and friendly towards other dogs.

The Council specify and regulate how many dogs I can board at one time and this can depend on gender and temperament.

The kennel cough vaccination is not required but all dogs must have their basic vaccinations and flee and worm treatment is preferable.

Home Boarding for Small Animals

I have insulated accommodation for small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs etc, with a selection of hutches. The owners provide the dry food and bedding and I will provide the fresh vegetables. Pets can be delivered and collected between the hours of 8am-8pm.

Dog walking

I will walk your dog from home or take them to a suitable venue. This service is for people at work during the day and do not want their dogs left for long periods or for those owners that are at home but are unable to walk their dogs due to illness, disability or just lack of time. Strong dogs must be lead trained.

Home Visits for Cats and Small Animals and Birds

I will visit the pets in their home and feed them, change their water and make sure they have clean dry bedding and some play time.

The owners also have the satisfaction of knowing their property is visited regularly while they are away and I will open and close curtains, turn lights on or off, put bins out for collection and generally check the property, if required.

Home visits for Dogs

I only do home visits for dogs to walk and feed them if the owners are out for the day not if they are away overnight or for a weekend.

Pet to Vet

Routine vet visits for checkups and vaccinations or follow up treatment at your regular vet, if appointments are prearranged. I am unable to do an emergency call out service because of my regular commitments and I cannot guarantee that I would always be available.
